I agree Tommy. Every morning when I wake up I pray for God's will in all my affairs and for guidance to carry out his will in my dealings with others. If I don't do this, my own will takes over very quickly and soon I'm spending a whole lot of time trying to repair what I should've trusted God to take care of in the first place. One of the verses in the bible that's always struck a chord with me is "pray without ceasing". I couldn't get my mind around what it means to pray nonstop but as I practice keeping an ongoing dialog with God I realize it's all about putting my faith in him to show me his way in ALL things at ALL times. That was a revolutionary thought. I realized that he wants that conversation to continue beyond a Sunday sermon and a prayer over dinner. That makes things easy for me because it's a promise that he will listen and also that he wants me to open myself to what he has to say, John 14: 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. That's personal and he gives that promise to us regardless of church affiliation, family upbringing and yes, church steeples. There's no better promise than that, in my opinion. Thanks for all you do Pastor T. God bless...

You are right Tommy!
A lot of culture defines the label "Christian" by what we are against instead of what we are for!
Maybe the reason for this is because Christians even forgot what we are for...

Thank you for sharing your heart in it's pure-ness!
